Abstract

Proposed legislation would eliminate the 30-day Hotel/Motel Tax exemption, increasing housing costs for Georgians who rely on hotels as their primary residence. This change would deepen housing cost burdens for already vulnerable households and increase the risk of housing instability and homelessness.
