Abstract
Réseau des Femmes Oeuvrant pour le Dévéloppement Rural is a grassroots network of over 300 women committed to assisting rural Rwandan women in their personal development and thus to contribute to the development of the entire country. This case study reports on Réseau des Femmes’ development, activities, and empowerment of women, based on documentary research, open-ended interviews, and focus groups conducted during March 2000.
