For this project, I intend to write a children’s book that teaches children about vegetables in a fun story format with word repetition, alliterations, characters that appeal to young children, and entertaining illustrations. The health benefits of each vegetable in the salad that is being made throughout the book will be shared with the children in the story. The story will focus solely on ingredients for a plant-based salad and the final recipe will be included at the end of the book. The book will be designed for preschool to early elementary school age children.
