This presentation provides examples of teaching strategies and supporting materials designed to engage, involve students with a variety of content in history, geography, economics, reading, literature, and language arts. National music and Common Core standards will be referenced as well as state standards. Strategies will be consistent with teaching models designed to maximize student engagement with factual information as well as higher order thinking skills.
