Learning assessment can be daunting for a librarian who wants to try it out for the first time, or too time consuming for librarians who only get a few minutes with students. But this practical program introduces librarians to common, easy, and quick formative assessments that can immediately be implemented into even the shortest of sessions. This session will help librarians identify key points in example lessons where formative assessment can be inserted, and brainstorm ways to implement the assessments in an effective way.
