Abstract
Drawing upon autobiographical experiences and the traditions of confessional and narrative lyric poetry, this original collection of poems seeks to explore emotional genealogies. More specifically, this collection is broken into sections that map out the dissolution of a family, a lineage of womanhood within a family, initial forays into romantic love, and the grief evoked by all of these factors.
