This study will conduct an analysis of tourist visitation patterns in the Great Smoky Mountains National Park. By examining this data with tourist behavior expectations, alternatives could be drawn to determine whether the park's resources should be viewed in either a more preservative aspect or to develop better "use" formulas and strategies for increasing popularity.
