The Department of Public Management and Policy (PMAP) is housed within the Andrew Young School of Policy Studies (AYSPS) and known nationally for its research and teaching excellence, as well as service to public and nonprofit organizations. Its faculty consistently is ranked among the top programs nationally in terms of scholarly publications and applied research products. Its alumni hold responsible positions on all levels of government in the United States, in many nonprofit agencies, and in private sector organizations that work with governments and nonprofits. Students come from all over the United States and from other nations throughout the world. PMAP’s mission is to prepare future leaders of public and non-profit organizations and future scholars in public policy and administration.
