Abstract
Georgia State University Library is committed to preparing students for careers in data science in a growing knowledge economy. Practical insights will be shared on creating community engagement partnerships like the successful Data in the ATL speaker series, where data experts from Fortune 500 companies and nonprofits introduce students to possible careers.
Outcomes:
* Learn effective ways to foster community engagement partnerships around data science
* Learn creative ways of engaging students around data science and data literacy
