Abstract
Completion rates for CTE programs in Michigan have risen sharply in recent years. Researchers in CTEx Michigan found that a change in the state funding formula likely explains some of this impact. More students who start CTE programs go on to complete them, yet the researchers found that student performance was maintained after the funding change, whether measured by end-of-course assessments or by the total time in a program.
