Abstract
The shift from traditional pharmacological treatments to more holistic approaches, led to the creation of a new field known as culinary medicine. This resource is designed for medical professionals and teaching kitchens who work with patients who have Type 2 Diabetes, Chronic Kidney Disease, and Heart Disease to help them better manage their condition. This cookbook presents evidenced based key nutrients and nutrition parameters that pertain to each condition.
